Sintered Pleated Filter Cylinder

Sintered Pleated Filter Cylinder is a kind of multi-layer structure filtration element which adopts stainless steel fiber sintered felt or stainless steel woven mesh as the base material and processed by folding wave process. Its core materials include 304, 316L, iron chromium aluminum fiber, etc., with high porosity, high dirt-holding capacity and high temperature and corrosion resistance. The filter element is sealed by argon arc welding and other processes, and the folded design significantly increases the filtration area (compared with the traditional filter element to enhance 3-5 times), which is suitable for high-precision, high-pressure differential complex working conditions.

    production process of our Sintered Pleated Filter Cylinder

    1. Raw material processing: screening stainless steel powder or fiber mat, mixing additives to enhance sintering performance.

    2. Molding process:
    - Folding process: fold metal mats or woven mesh into corrugated shape to increase the surface area.
    - Press molding: the mold presses the powder into a hollow cylindrical embryo under high pressure.

    3. High-temperature sintering: Sintering at about 1500℃ under vacuum environment to form a stable porous structure.

    4. Post-treatment: Cutting, welding end caps (argon arc welding to ensure sealing), surface polishing and anti-rust treatment.
