The sintered metal filter manufactured by lvyuan is based on the core of high precision and extreme environment resistance, using stainless steel (304/316L), titanium alloy, nickel-based alloys  and other metal powders as raw materials, forming hollow blanks through cold isostatic pressure molding (10-16MPa pressure) or mold-assisted, and then vacuum degassing (1.3×10-²Pa) and protective atmosphere sintering (stainless steel 1000-1400℃, titanium alloy 500-600℃) to achieve a dense pore structure, the porosity 28%-50% adjustable. First, raw material preparation and pretreatment

Metal powder: common materials include stainless steel (304/316L), copper, titanium alloy, nickel-based alloys, etc., according to the use of the filter element to choose the particle size range (20-300 mesh).

Second, molding

Mold filling
The mixture is filled into a high-temperature resistant mold , making sure that the compression blanks are separated by molybdenum flakes or aluminum oxide to prevent sintering adhesion.

Third, high-temperature sintering process

1. Sintering temperature control
Stainless steel cartridge: 1000-1400 ℃, copper cartridge: 800-900 ℃, titanium alloy cartridge up to 500-600 ℃.
Precise temperature control to avoid grain coarsening (too high temperature) or insufficient densification.

2. Atmosphere protection and insulation
Filled with argon or hydrogen to reduce oxidation.
Holding time is adjusted according to the cartridge size (1-10 hours) to ensure pore uniformity.

3. Multi-stage sintering
The composite cartridge needs to be sintered in several stages: first sinter the metal mesh layer, then sinter the metal powder layer to enhance the interlayer bonding force.

Fourth,Post-treatment and processing

1. Cooling process
Rapid cooling (e.g. water cooling or inert gas cooling) to maintain the stability of the phase structure, to avoid slow cooling leading to performance degradation.

2. Mechanical Processing
Turning, drilling to adjust the dimensional accuracy, or coiled tube welded into a round tube (inside-out structure).

3. Surface treatment
Polishing, coating (such as corrosion-resistant layer) to improve surface finish and functionality.

Fifth. Performance Testing

1. Key performance test
Porosity: 28%-50% (adjusted by powder particle size and sintering process).
Filtration precision: 0.1-100μm (copper cartridge up to 5-100μm, stainless steel cartridge 5-100μm).
Mechanical strength: pressure resistance test (e.g. 20-200 kg/cm²), high temperature stability verification.

2. Regeneration process
Backwashing, ultrasonic cleaning or high temperature burning (copper cartridges can be acid washed or burned with open flame) to remove clogging.
