    Product Performance Of Plastic Pe Plate

    The temperature resistance of PE material is 80°C, and the temperature resistance of PA material is 120°C. lt is non-toxic, tasteless, and has no medium shedding. lt has excellent mechanical properties and is not easy to damage.     production process of plastic pe plate

    1. Raw material preparation and mixing
    High molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) granules are selected as the main raw material, which need to be dried to remove moisture. Additives such as lubricants and fillers may be added at the mixing stage, and the homogeneous mixing is realized through high-speed mixing or ball milling process.

    2. Molding
    The mixed materials are loaded into molds and initially pressed into molded blanks through high pressure (room temperature or heat). Example:
    - Molding-sintering method: the mold is heated together with the raw material to a molten state (about 200-230°C) and subsequently cooled and shaped.
    - High-speed molding method: At a temperature close to the melting point, a dense structure is formed by high-speed impact pressing to shorten the molding time.

    3. Sintering process
    The blanks are sintered in an inert gas-protected furnace to melt and recrystallize locally at the particle interface to form a porous structure. The temperature and time need to be precisely controlled to avoid degradation or impermeable plasticization.

    4. Post-treatment and surface modification
    The sintered plate is cooled, polished, and antifouling treated (e.g., sprayed with PTFE coating) to enhance hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance. Some processes require secondary pressing to optimize mechanical properties.

    5. Cutting and quality control
    Cut to specific sizes as required and tested for density, pore size distribution, mechanical strength, etc. to ensure compliance with application standards.
