    Product Description

    ● It plays a decisive role in the control of gas distribution, the transmission and fluidization of powder materials, and is used in industrial processes. It has a very wide range of applications, it is used as a supporting plate for dispersing porous solids in liquid-solid separation (ion exchange columns, chromatography columns, etc.). In addition, polymer composite materials have the characteristics of anti static voltage, so filter plates are also widely used in electrostatic powder spraying, electrostatic generator barrels and fluidized bed devices.

    ● The surface of the filter plate is sprayed with PTFE coating, penetrates into the matrix of the polymer filter plate, and forms an ultra-fine micro porous structure with it, so that the filter plate has good chemical stability, large filtration area, high pore precision, uniform airflow distribution, and low resistance loss, Small size, superior flow air distribution performance and so on.

Product Performance Of Plastic PE Plate

Uniform distribution of filter pore size, good fluidity, resistant to strong acid alkali, salt and most organic solvents, easy to back flush, high regeneration efficiency.

The temperature resistance of PE material is 80°C, and the temperature resistance of PA material is 120°C. It is non-toxic, tasteless, and has no medium shedding. It has excellent mechanical properties and is not easy to damage. The raw material meets the requirements of GMP and FDA, does not use adhesives, and has a wide range of chemical compatibility.

Production Process of Plastic PE Plate

    1. Raw Material Preparation & Mixing

High molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) granules are selected as the main raw material, which need to be dried to remove moisture. Additives such as lubricants and fillers may be added at the mixing stage, and the homogeneous mixing is realized through high-speed mixing or ball milling process.

    2. Molding

The mixed materials are loaded into molds and initially pressed into molded blanks through high pressure (room temperature or heat).
    - Molding-sintering method: the mold is heated together with the raw material to a molten state (about 200-230°C) and subsequently cooled and shaped.
    - High-speed molding method: At a temperature close to the melting point, a dense structure is formed by high-speed impact pressing to shorten the molding time.

    3. Sintering Process

The blanks are sintered in an inert gas-protected furnace to melt and recrystallize locally at the particle interface to form a porous structure. The temperature and time need to be precisely controlled to avoid degradation or impermeable plasticization.

    4. Post-treatment & Surface Modification

The sintered plate is cooled, polished, and antifouling treated (e.g., sprayed with PTFE coating) to enhance hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance. Some processes require secondary pressing to optimize mechanical properties.

    5. Cutting & Quality Control

Cut to specific sizes as required and tested for density, pore size distribution, mechanical strength, etc. to ensure compliance with application standards.

    Advantages of Sintered PE Plate

    1. Excellent Abrasion & Impact Resistance

Extremely low coefficient of friction (0.07-0.11), abrasion resistance is 3-7 times higher than that of steel, suitable for high abrasion environments.

    2. Excellent Chemical Resistance

Stable to acid, alkali, salt and most organic solvents, suitable for chemical industry, electroplating and other corrosive media treatment.

    3. Hydrophobicity & Moisture Resistance

The composite structure of PE and PTFE gives the plate strong hydrophobicity, which can be used in humid environment for a long time, avoiding the problem of muddy bag.

    4. Environmentally Friendly & Long Life

No adhesive, non-toxic, odorless, FDA certified; service life of more than 10 years, support for cleaning and regeneration.

    5. Wide Temperature Range Adaptability

Resistant to low temperature (-100℃ to -70℃), short-term high temperature up to 80-120℃ (depending on specific materials).

    Application of Plastic PE Plate

    1. Environmental protection and industrial filtration
    - Water treatment: used for wastewater heavy metal ion filtration (such as cadmium, lead) and drinking water purification.
    - Air purification: used as dust collector filter element to deal with high temperature and high humidity flue gas (e.g. hot rolling process in steel mills).
    2. Chemical and energy
    - Chemical equipment: making corrosion-resistant pipes and reactor liners.
    - New energy: lithium battery diaphragm materials, to adapt to the demand for high energy density.
    3. Food and medicine
    - Food processing: filtration media for dairy product degreasing and fruit juice clarification.
    - Pharmaceutical: aseptic filtration and sterilization of medical devices, in line with GMP standards.
    4. Transportation and machinery
    - Marine and automotive: wear-resistant liners, seals, reduce maintenance costs.
    - Powder conveying: hopper and chute lining to avoid material adhesion.

Our factory with its unique processing technology (such as molded sintering and surface modification) and performance advantages (wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, environmentally friendly), sintered PE plate occupies an important position in the fields of environmental protection, chemical industry, food and so on. Its market penetration is expected to increase further in the future with technological upgrades.
