PA MICROPOROUS SINTERED FILTER ELEMENT REGENERATION
Physical Method
Since the filter rod has good mechanical properties and will not rupture, 0.6Mpa compressed air can be used for back-blowing to remove slag, and the back-blowing also plays the role of capillary regeneration but the particles accumulated in the filter layer after a long time of use will affect the filtration speed, and chemical regeneration must be carried out at this time.
Chemical Method
Put the blocked PA filter rod in the concentration of 5%-10% acid or broken liquid diffusion bubble, so that the micro material blocked in the filter layer neutralization, and then backwash with water or air backwash clean, the filter rod filtration effect can be restored.
PA filter advantages
1. Excellent chemical stability
Extensive corrosion resistance:
resistant to strong acids (such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid), strong bases (such as liquid alkali), organic solvents (such as methanol, ethanol, acetone) and aldehydes, and has good compatibility with ester, ketone, and ether solvents below 80℃.
No adhesive additive:
no chemical adhesive in the whole production process, to avoid secondary pollution, in line with GMP, FDA standards, applicable to the pharmaceutical and food industries.
2. Excellent physical and mechanical properties
High strength and toughness:
strong impact resistance, transportation and installation is not easy to damage, can withstand high-pressure working environment (the highest differential pressure 0.6-1.5MPa).
High temperature resistance:
short-term resistance to 130 ℃ saturated steam sterilization (30 minutes), long-term continuous use of temperature up to 80 ℃.
Lightweight design:
the specific gravity of the material is only 0.5-0.7g/ml, reducing the load on the equipment.
3. High efficiency filtration and regeneration performance
High precision filtration:
uniform pore size distribution, the highest precision of 0.3μm, can efficiently intercept 99.9% of the particles.
Easy regeneration and maintenance:
support gas/water backwashing, rapid deslagging and regeneration; chemical regeneration (acid dissolves clogging), extending the service life to more than 3 years.
Consistent internal and external pore size:
thick filter layer and stable structure, high pressure still maintains high efficiency, and particles are not easy to be embedded when backwashing.
4. Economy and operation convenience
Long life and low cost:
backflush deslagging design reduces the replacement frequency and supports dry out slag recycling to reduce the operation cost.
Compatible with automation:
It is suitable for automatic backwash system and can be integrated into large-scale water treatment or chemical production line.
5. Wide application adaptability
Chemical industry:
silica sulfate, hydrogen peroxide, activated carbon separation, chromium/zinc wastewater treatment
Pharmaceutical/foodstuffs:
injection washing water filtration, oral liquid purification, mineral water/beer clarification
Gas treatment:
compressed air de-dusting, oil mist separation, natural gas purification (accuracy of 0.3 μm)
Industry:
electroplating solution purification, water supply for thermal power plant, fuel oil de-contamination
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What sizes and specifications are available for PA filters?
PA filters are available in diameters of 38mm and 48mm, with lengths of 1m, 1.5m, and 2m. They support filtration precisions ranging from 0.5um to 10um, and feature connector sizes of M20, M22, M24, M26, and M30 made of plastic or stainless steel.
2. How do you clean and regenerate a PA microporous sintered filter element?
You can regenerate the filter using physical or chemical methods. The physical method involves using 0.6Mpa compressed air for back-blowing to remove slag. The chemical method involves soaking the blocked filter rod in a 5%-10% acid or alkali solution to neutralize contaminants, followed by a water or air backwash.
3. What chemical corrosion resistance does the PA filter offer?
The PA filter has excellent chemical stability and is resistant to strong acids (like sulfuric and phosphoric acid), strong bases (such as liquid alkali), and organic solvents (like methanol, ethanol, and acetone). It also performs well with ester, ketone, and ether solvents below 80℃.
4. Can the PA filter handle high pressure and high temperatures?
Yes, it has high physical strength and can withstand high-pressure environments with a maximum differential pressure of 0.6-1.5MPa. It can also withstand short-term saturated steam sterilization at 130℃ for 30 minutes, and long-term continuous use up to 80℃.
5. Is the PA filter safe for use in food and pharmaceutical industries?
Absolutely. The PA filter is manufactured without any chemical adhesive additives during the production process, avoiding secondary contamination. It fully complies with GMP and FDA standards, making it safe for both food and pharmaceutical applications.
6. What are the typical industrial applications for PA filters?
Typical applications include silica sulfate and hydrogen peroxide separation in the chemical industry, injection washing water filtration and beer clarification in the food/pharmaceutical industries, compressed air de-dusting in gas treatment, and electroplating solution purification in general industry.
